Event Report
An event hosted by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) with the support from Fast Retailing Foundation and UNIQLO. By participating in the clinic and talk session with Shingo Kunieda and Gordon Reid, the junior wheelchair tennis players were able to not only improve on their technique, but also learn the importance of being humble, respecting others and working with devotion.
Junior players looking to improve their skills by working on drills with cones and tennis balls.
The juniors were fortunate enough to get direct technical advice from the ambassadors.
A great atmosphere during the Q&A session with many juniors asking questions to Shingo and Gordon.
Both Shingo and Gordon made some time for an autograph session after the event.
Wheelchair Tennis Next Gen Development Event in Oss
UNIQLO and ITF hosted a Wheelchair Tennis Next Gen Development initiative on the weekend on November 5th and 6th, inviting talented participant juniors to the Wheelchair Tennis Masters. At the event, junior players interacted with world-class players. Through special lessons, they learned not only the practical skills of wheelchair tennis, but also the importance of having a dream and working hard at it.
