Event Report
The “Future Golfers Seminar 2024 with Adam Scott” was held on a sunny, exceptionally warm October day. A total of 19 junior golfers participated in the event: 17 top junior golfers from the Kanto area joined by Riura Matsui and Aina Fujimoto, who competed in the UNIQLO Adam Scott Junior Championship held in Florida, USA in May.
The junior golfers were dazzled by Scott's amazing shots and beautiful swing, which is lauded as the best in the world.
Scott demonstrated a variety of techniques for bunker shots. The junior golfers intently studied these concrete explanations and the practical application of them.
During the par 3 closest to the pin contest, Scott showed off his impressive skills and got to 1.60 meters from the pin, but all of the junior golfers who took on the challenge also hit the green in an impressive show of skill!
During the talk session, the junior golfers listened to Scott's talk and took notes diligently, a sight which left quite an impression.
This was the seventh Future Golfers Seminar, an event which started due to Scott's desire to pass on his own experiences to amateur golfers in Japan who aspire to become professional golfers. UNIQLO will continue to work with Adam Scott to foster the next generation of elite golfers.
