Event Report
The 2nd UNIQLO Adam Scott Junior Championship was held in West Palm, Florida, and 78 junior golfers participated in the tournament.
This year, Adam Scott attended the event and interacted with the juniors through a golf clinic and a chipping contest.
The tournament was supported by the Fast Retailing Foundation, allowing 2 Japanese players to enter the tournament. 2 Australian players were invited as well, similarly to the previous year.
All players were handed a goodie bag including a polo shirt from the new collection between UNIQLO and Adam Scott, as well as original caps and a message card from Adam.
During the clinic, there was a chance for a junior player to challenge Adam on who can drive the ball further. Adam seemed to be impressed with the young talent.
A junior player was able to land the ball closer than Adam at the chipping contest. He got to take this photo as well as earn bragging rights on "beating Adam."
Adam called out the names for both boys and girls' final groups during the final round.
Jason Schwartz and Yuna Araki were champions, both with a final score of -13 through 3 rounds.
