A STORY OF KEI NISHIKORI
FROM JAPAN TO THE WORLD

It all began about 10 years ago in Paris, at a dinner shared by Kei Nishikori and Tadashi Yanai, President of UNIQLO. Yanai asked the tenis player, "What is your goal?" to which Kei is said to have replied, "Number one in the world." In his answer we felt a natural overlap, as our company was beginning to expand outside of Japan with the ambition of one day becoming the number one company in the world. Welcoming him as a GLOBAL BRAND AMBASSADOR in 2011 and cultivating a shared vision, we have developed high-functioning apparel that performs well for the top athlete, while staying true to the LifeWear mission to make everyone's life better. Out of several rallies of discussion came DRY-EX, a fabric that is easy to move around in, and stays dry in sweat-inducing conditions. DRY-EX apparel works as active daily wear, as well as for the professional tennis player vying for a Grand Slam title. "I'm having a lot of fun right now. I'm still improving." Kei Nishikori continues to evolve in his quest for No.1 in the world. We're encouraged by his attitude, and hope to achieve our goals together.

Kei’s Comment:

This latest game wear features three base colors of light gray, green, and blue, with gradations that match each color. The unique coloring perfectly complements the red clay of the French Open. The sweat-absorbing and quick-drying properties make this shirt ideal for matches on hot days, and it's comfortable to wear. I will give a full effort in every single match at the French Open, and do my best to meet the expectations of all my supporters.
