Ambassador Talk Session
The session looked back on Kei Nishikori’s career spanning nearly 20 years, including memories shared with Roger Federer, Shingo Kunieda and Gordon Reid. As they reflected on Nishikori’s many years of challenges and achievements, the ambassadors shared personal memories and spoke of the mutual respect they have for one another.
Exhibition Matches
A wheelchair singles match between Shingo Kunieda and Gordon Reid was followed by a star-studded mixed-format doubles match featuring Kei Nishikori and Roger Federer. Nishikori and Federer then teamed up to face Go Soeda and Satoshi Iwabuchi in a doubles exhibition match, creating an exciting atmosphere throughout the venue.
Finale
A surprise video featuring messages from fans was shown, followed by heartfelt tributes from the ambassadors celebrating Nishikori’s nearly 20-year professional career. To close the event, the four ambassadors made their way around the court, hitting signed balls into the stands, as the audience gave them a warm round of applause.
Museum and Other Activities
A special museum exhibition at the venue traced Nishikori’s journey with UNIQLO through the outfits he has worn throughout his career. Fans also took part in the “KEI X FANS CAMERA CHALLENGE”, answering quiz questions presented by Nishikori himself. Nishikori also delivered a special coaching session for junior players.
