Career Opportunities
UNIQLO places great importance on employee learning. We have FRMIC (the company's internal training team that focuses on employee learning) working with area managers and store managers to impart the best possible knowledge to our employees.
The cycle of "training" and "practice"
UNIQLO provides education to employee combining both OFFJT (training), OJT (practice) and Self-Learning so, employes have necessary knowledge to execute through daily practice.
Employees will receive learning through training (OFFJT) from the moment they join the company. After that, employees will learn more about a variety of topics according to their changing roles and responsibilities.
The education that allows employees to practice on the job simultaneously, not only teach basic work or business skills, but also includes thinking skills and working with others. Uniqlo has a clear On-the-Job Training Plan (OJT Plan) that employees will see and understand the overall picture of the entire training from the first day they come to work, including topics, expectations, training period, etc.
Employees can learn at their own pace through the company’s digital tools, such as work manuals, applications that aggregate a variety of content in the form of videos, and practice language skills that employees are interested in on their own.
UNIQLO operates on the principle of ‘Meritocracy’, based on the idea that employees who are knowledgeable and dedicated to their work will have opportunities to grow and receive appropriate compensation (salary, promotion) regardless of their age, gender or years of service.
From the position of Store Associate, employees have the opportunity to be promoted to ‘Assistant Store Manager Trainee’ to grow into a Uniqlo store manager and will continue to be the business leader of the company in the future.
