Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too much room in the crotch area Nice sweatpants with the slimmer taper at the leg that I was looking for but a bit too much room in the crotch area that isn't represented very well in the pictures.Just looks too baggy in that area while it fits perfectly everywhere else. Will have to only wear these around the house.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Way too big in the hips LOVE the high cotton fabrication of these, but the fit is way off from what was available last season. They are tapered, yes, but only from mid-thigh down. From the thigh to the waistband, it seems there are several extra inches of width. It looks like I have a load in my rear! Comfy, yes, but they look SO slouchy. I can't wear these out of the house :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love Uniqlo sweatpants, but HATED these A few months ago, I bought several pairs of Uniqlo sweatpants (model 418707) and loved them - best-fitting sweatpants I've ever owned, with a slim look. I came back to buy a bunch more in different colors, but 418707 isn't available anymore, so I looked at what's available. There are basically just two types - a relaxed (read: baggy) sweatpant for "extra room in the hips", which is not my style, and these - model 429162, which claim to be slim like the previous ones I bought. Couldn't be that different, right? Wrong. First, the rise on these is way longer (meaning, the crotch length). I measured them against my awesome Uniqlo sweatpants 418707, and those have a 10 inch rise vs 11.5 inches for these. In addition, despite being the exact same size, XS, these are way longer 37 inches long vs 35 inches for the 418707 model (not the inseam, but measuring the length of the entire pant). In other words, these have too long a rise, are baggier, and are too long. I don't understand how Uniqlo length sizes can vary so much from model to model. I'm returning these and will just wait for 418707 to come back into stock, or buy elsewhere altogether. Hated these pants.
