Since 2015, UNIQLO Thailand has been running the RE.UNIQLO program to collect preloved UNIQLO items and find them a new life. As a spin-off campaign from the main RE.UNIQLO program, "Warmth for All" was later launched to emphasize the importance of warm clothing in vulnerable communities. This initiative partners with organizations such as the Mirror Foundation, Ban Rom Sai Foundation, and UNHCR Thailand to ensure that the clothing is delivered to those in need.

Background
Despite Thailand’s warm climate, some people have to struggle and even pass away due to a lack of warm clothing. This is a sad but true situation, happening in the northern region and remote mountainous areas where the access to basic necessities is limited. The winter brings extremely low temperatures and a scarcity of warm clothing, forcing many families to make fires to keep themselves warm.
There are still many people in Thailand who are in need of clothing.

How to Join Us

Ban Rom Sai Foundation was established in 1999 in Chiang Mai Province. Initially, it focused on providing assistance to children affected by HIV through the Children's Shelter Project. However, due to advancements in medical technology, the number of children in this group has decreased. As a result, the foundation expanded its assistance to underprivileged children in remote areas through the "Pan Rak" project. The main mission is to provide support to villagers who have limited access to basic necessities such as clothing, medicine, food, and utilities, especially in mountainous areas where access is challenging.

The Warmth-Collecting Partners

Sharing THE POWER OF CLOTHING project with schools
We are currently facing a high demand for donations of children's clothing, so we have decided to expand our collaboration to include schools. We believe that by instilling a sense of social responsibility in young people and motivating them to actively contribute to addressing societal challenges, we can help create a better future in society. The "Sharing THE POWER OF CLOTHING" project aims to ignite awareness of social issues among children, cultivate empathy for those in need, and inspire them to take action to assist others.
STEP ❶ LEARNING
Active learning session to understand the clothing needs in Thailand and inspire the importance of sharing.

STEP ❷ TAKING ACTION
Placing donation boxes in schools for students to take part in the donation target.

FAQ
You can bring back any UNIQLO items to our stores throughout the year. However, particularly for warm clothes, we recommend bringing them between August and December so they can be donated in time for winter.
It is because, according to our Warmth-Distributing Partners, warm clothes, including any long-sleeved items, are in short supply, so we would like to collect as many as possible. On the other hand, other types of clothing, such as short-sleeved items, are in enough inventory to meet the demand.
You can bring your preloved clothes to any UNIQLO store. Check out store list here. https://map.uniqlo.com/th/th/
