A Taste of Deauville

Deauville: the elegant seaside resort that continues to inspire Ines
This brand-new collection is designed with the theme, “Vacationing in Deauville.” Ines has
fond memories of her time spent at this glamorous seaside resort in Normandy, a 2-hour drive
from Paris.
“The first time I visited Deauville, which is known as a luxurious resort, was when I was a little
girl. My grandmother, who was staying with us, wore elegant clothes when she went out in the
evening. Down in the hotel’s lobby, I often saw women in evening gowns. This made me interested
in fashion,” Ines recalls.
“While horseracing and casinos attract many vacationers, I like to chill out—not doing or
thinking about anything—when in Deauville. I take a walk along the long beach and eat delicious
food at a restaurant that lies along the seaside promenade,” Ines says.
“More often than not, I miss the beautiful beach of Deauville so much that I end up visiting
there impulsively. I hope that through this collection, you can feel the magnificent, yet friendly
ambiance of Deauville.”
