A collaborative project between UNIQLO and NY-based design house Engineered Garments. This new approach to "LifeWear" combines ideas and ethos from Engineered Garments, known for reinterpreting classic American design into a universal representation of modern menswear, represents UNIQLO's pursuit of innovation and high-quality clothing.

Daiki Suzuki

Head of Nepenthes America Inc. Designer of Engineered Garments.Born in 1962. Moved to the U.S. in 1989. After years in Boston, New YorkCity, and San Francisco, he settled in New York City in 1997 and founded Engineered Garments in 1999. In 2008, he became the first Japanese designer to be named among the GQ/CFDA Best New Menswear Designers in America.
