Leonard’s Bakery Kapahulu was established in 1952 and is known for their Pao Doce and of course, their malasadas. Owner Leonard Rego Jr. continues to keep the tradition alive with the addition of their four Malasada Mobiles and a second bakery location in Yokohama, Japan. Today, you will find that many enjoy these sweet treats in those iconic pink boxes at family parties and potlucks with friends across the island. To think, it all started with a small “hole-in-the-wall” bakeshop, serving a simple, fried Portuguese donut covered in sugar.

LION Coffee roared into life in 1864 in Toledo, Ohio introducing fine “fancy roasted” coffee. In 1979, LION moved to Hawaii to focus on the only beans grown in America, and it didn’t take long before LION Coffee became Hawaii’s favorite coffee brand. Today, hand-selected Arabica coffee beans are still carefully roasted and freshly packed under meticulous and exacting standards. Every batch is cupped to deliver freshness and the finest taste.
