UNIQLO LifeWear for a Lifetime

Give your cotton clothes a second life this April

Mar 18, 2026 UNIQLO Today
What if your favourite cotton pieces could look and feel refreshed again?

UNIQLO invites you to extend the life of your wardrobe with UNIQLO LifeWear for a Lifetime, a European campaign designed to help customers care for, repair and restore their UNIQLO clothing. UNIQLO is teaming up with BIORESTORE throughout April 2026 to gift you a re-tergent that revives worn cotton garments — because the clothes you love deserve to be worn again and again. This April, our aim is to help our customers restore up to 50,000 cotton garments that they already own.

Reuse, Repair, Remake, Restore

Throughout April 2026, when you repair, upcycle or customise a UNIQLO item at one of the RE.UNIQLO STUDIOs across Europe, you’ll receive a free sachet of BIORESTORE Restore Cotton to help you keep your cotton pieces in rotation for longer. This initiative builds on UNIQLO’s ongoing commitment through RE.UNIQLO, offering customers practical solutions to:
Reuse. Donate UNIQLO items that no longer serve you to people in need. Drop them in the RE.UNIQLO boxes available in all our stores.
Repair. Rather than replacing them, mend worn out jeans, reattach buttons and fix holes at our 23 European RE.UNIQLO STUDIOs.
Remake. Reimagine your stained, faulty or new UNIQLO items through customisation. Embellish with Japanese Sashiko stitch or choose from hundreds of embroidery options. Ready-upcycled items are also available to purchase.

From April 1st - 30th 2026, all RE.UNIQLO STUDIO customers will be rewarded with a BIORESTORE sample to help restore cotton clothing. Please read the full Terms & Conditions here.

How Restore Cotton works

BIORESTORE’s Re‑tergent™ enzyme technology is designed to breathe new life into cotton garments during a regular machine wash. The treatment helps to reduce visible pilling, revive colours and refresh the look of prints.

One sachet can restore up to five cotton items (or 1kg of clothing) in a single1 hour wash cycle. The technology works on garments with a minimum of 70% cotton composition, gently targeting worn fibres to refresh the surface of the fabric. Although BIORESTORE is an exciting product, it’s not a miracle worker, it will not dissolve stains or sun bleaching. Refrain from using it on items that have holes, have been worn resulting in thinning fabric (externally visible or invisible), or with frayed seams. BIORESTORE works with an enzyme that removes pilling from cotton surfaces. When used on very worn garments or thin, lightweight cotton fabrics, the effect may cause a deterioration in the thin or lightweight areas. Please read instructions carefully on the packaging and on Bio-restore.com before getting started.
