Waste is a valuable resource that can be transformed and reused when managed properly. Our goal is to minimize the amount of waste generated from our business activities and move toward achieving Zero Waste.
We emphasize environmental responsibility in every processes from designing, manufacturing, transportation to sales— by reducing waste, reusing items whenever possible, and recycling to give new life to materials.

Waste Recycling Activities
Since 2023 Uniqlo Thailand has changed A4 Paper for both office and stores to 50% recycled material
2022-2023 Donated 116 recycled paper furniture in collaboration with SCGP to UNHCR to use in the refugee camps

Partnering with
Since 2024 Recycle Day serves as Uniqlo Thailand’s waste collection partner across 50 stores and offices, managing materials such as cardboard, plastic packaging bags, mixed plastics, and mixed paper. All collected waste is responsibly handled by certified recyclers and processors, ensuring zero landfill disposal and no incineration without energy recovery, in line with our commitment to sustainable waste management.
SCG Packaging (SCGP) is a leading expert in paper and cardboard recycling. Most of the paper and cardboard collected from Uniqlo Thailand are delivered to SCGP, ensuring that all paper waste are responsibly recycled in line with our sustainability commitment.
