Meticulous dyeing to capture the passage of time.
We utilize the rope dyeing technique for our denim yarn, which preserves the white core while dyeing the exterior a rich indigo. This white core becomes visible through the surface as you wear and wash the jeans. The depth of the dye enhances the fabric's beauty as it ages. These jeans are expertly crafted to transform into a vintage pale blue over time, allowing you to appreciate their evolving character.

We worked with skilled artisans at venerable denim maker Kaihara to implement unique modifications to the old-fashioned loom. This resulted in an innovative fabric with stretchable comfort yet an authentic texture. We've updated jeans with modern comfort while keeping the warmth and power of old-fashioned handwork and the textured feel of traditional denim.
