花や果物の静物画で有名なアブラハム・ミグノンの作品。暗い背景と豪華な花束からなる装飾的効果は、ヤン・ダヴィス・デ・ヘームの影響を強く受けているが、質感の表現は他の画家の追随を許さないものである。その代表例が、窓に映り込むクリスタルの花瓶である。
