The secret to the protection for your skin lies in the fabric's double UV blocking that absorbs and reflects UV rays. The UV protection level is UPF 50+, the highest rating on the UV protection index for clothing. The effect lasts after washing because the yarn itself blocks UV rays.*

UV Protection (UPF50+) blocks harmful sun rays

It offers UPF 50+ protection from UV rays. We achieved this amazing functionality by using a special knitting structure to produce a fabric with yarn kneaded with titanium oxide, an ultraviolet diffusing agent. The effect lasts after washing because the yarn itself blocks UV rays.* Development started 10 years ago, but the evolution continues this season with the addition of innovations that enhance fabric durability.
