Yagmur Ersavas
Student
Yagmur studies art history and data science at UC Berkeley. She says these Ultra Stretch UV Protection Active Wide Trousers are great for travelling to her regular yoga classes, something she’s done since childhood, and also for working out. The new Racer Back Bra Top is just right for her active style.

Ultra Stretch Active Joggers paired with a breezy cropped Oxford shirt from UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON make for a modern sporty look.

Marina Nueckel
Student, Model
Marina powers up a hilly street, one of the marking features of the city. Wireless bra and matching leggings now available in a pastel sky blue colour. With a water-repellent pocketable UV protection parka tied around her waist in a matching hue, she’s ready to regulate her temperature or even fend off a little rain.

Kennedy Bartee
Student
Kennedy, a student at the University of San Francisco, wears a nineties-style outfit of green biker shorts and a sweatshirt from UNIQLO : C.

She likes running near the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, a popular exercise locale. The white parka has UV-blocking technology and the cooling texture of AIRism, making it indispensable for running or everyday tasks. For a top, she wears an incredibly soft Supima cotton T-shirt in pastel green, just right for this season.
Changing Colours, Unchanged Scenery
Pastel buildings are a perfect match for this season’s SUW. Up close, you can detect several careful layers of paint. If you compare photos from a few years back, some buildings have changed colour entirely. This all started with the colourist trend led by local artist Butch Kardum in the 1960s, when many of the city’s iconic Victorian homes were painted vibrant tones, changing the face of SF to this day.
This keeps things very interesting for runners. Thanks to the grid of streets, you’ll suddenly pass by a majestic view of the ocean, offering a glimpse of Alcatraz Island bathed in light.
Downtown, a darling railcar rattles up the street. The colours of the city may change, but some things about San Francisco never do. The hilly streets are truly unforgettable. If you have the chance to go for a run here, head for the picturesque lookout of Twin Peaks. The extreme slopes are sure to carve a space into your memory.
