I was really interested in the idea of clothing as a sort of environment for our bodies and in how, through good design, we can really create a sense of connection to ourselves.
Paying attention to the way that clothes feel when they're worn inspired touches such as bias panels at the waist to give a sense of ease when moving.
I'm always drawn to natural fabrics and fibres that allow the skin to breathe. For this season in particular I wanted a sense of fluidity, and to have fabrics that move really beautifully with the body.

These clothes are meant to be worn and lived in, and that's where the intersection with UNIQLO's philosophy of LifeWear comes in.
I want the people who wear these clothes to feel that sense of connection to their bodies and to themselves.
