- Born and raised in Long Beach, Imani studies business at a local college. Fascinated by the power of fashion and art to create trends, she hopes one day to be a creative director. She loves to spend her free time drawing at the beach where she grew up.
Kiran SahgalStudent,Production Assistant
- Born in Los Angeles, Kiran works as a production assistant at a ceramics studio in Ojai when he isn't studying at a college in Oakland. An offshoot of his interest in ramen, his “ramen bowls” have been carried by select shops in Tokyo. His next challenge is to make a moon jar, a type of large round pot.
Jackie YaegerZine Creator
- Born in New Jersey. Working at the Los Angeles art book shop Ooga Booga sparked her curiosity in the production work behind small presses. Now Jackie is part of The Print Shop LA, in Chinatown. As a personal project, she is putting together a zine for women comprising interviews with people in her life.
Ellie BartisSurf Instructor
- Born in Los Angeles, Ellie lives with her family and their dog Mack in a mid-century home constructed in the 1950s. Surfing since age eleven, she teaches kids to surf at a summer camp. After graduating from high school this year, she plans to spend some time in Sweden.
Kade PercySurf Shop Employee
- Born in Los Angeles, Kade spent a year after college traveling in South America. Last year, he returned to his hometown, where he works at a surf shop while volunteering at a conservation group. His myriad interests include surfing, hiking, and fishing. Recently, he took up Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Andrey TarasovSkateboarder
- Born in Moscow, Russia, Andrey now resides in Silver Lake. At fifteen, he learned about skateboarder Dylan Rieder, whose transcendent style became a major influence. Andrey divides his time between modeling and skateboarding. For the past few years, he has also been working with photography.
Blue LolanFilmmaker
- Born in Los Angeles, Blue lives in Hollywood with her family, where they share a historic building from the 1930s with dogs, cats, and a host of other pets, including flying squirrels. When not working as a model, Blue devotes a time to making films. She is working on her documentary about rescued young deer, which she has been filming in Ohio.
Jake ShellowCarpenter
- Born in Idaho, Jake was inspired to pursue carpentry at the age of twelve by a skate ramp builder living in his neighborhood. After learning the ropes at a set design studio in Brooklyn. Jake now works as an apprentice for a finish carpenter in Los Angeles. spends his days off working on projects in his garage. His dream is to someday build his own house.
