I'm a size 8 and I always go for S.
In this case S was far too baggy- was especially noticeable with the shoulders (& I'd say mine are pretty average).
Went one size down to XS & it fit perfectly, just like an 8/S. Wasn't too tight, very comfy & the shoulder seams were sitting in the right position.
It might fit fine for larger sizes though, of if you have broader shoulders!
