UNIQLO to Open First Store in Colorado at Denver Pavilions, Oct. 28
Sept. 30, 2016, New York, New York – UNIQLO today announces it will open its newest location in the U.S. Oct. 28 in Denver, Colorado, at Denver Pavilions shopping center in the heart of the city’s downtown area on 16th Street. The new UNIQLO store, the first in the Rocky Mountain region of the U.S., will occupy 17,000 square feet across two sales floors and showcase the brand’s full assortment of LifeWear - innovative, high-quality clothing that is universal in design and comfort and made for everyone, everywhere.
“We look forward to bringing UNIQLO to the vibrant city of Denver, welcoming customers across the city and state,” said Hiroshi Taki, CEO of UNIQLO USA. “Our mission is to enhance people’s lives through our clothing, and we are excited to introduce products like Ultra Light Down jackets and HEATTECH innerwear for Colorado’s active, outdoor lifestyles. We hope to bring a new, unique customer service and shopping experience to Denver Pavilions, and look forward to opening our doors Oct. 28,” he said.
UNIQLO at Denver Pavilions will carry the full lineup of clothing for men, women and kids. The first floor of the store will have a dedicated area for Japanese technology items including HEATTECH, now available in “Extra Warm,” adding a thin, yet functional layer for the winter season. Another section of the store will offer athleisure and warm collection looks, with signature items like BlockTech outerwear, fluffy fleece and slim fit pants. Core fashion items will be available throughout the store, including Extra Fine Merino knits, flannel, and the highly anticipated Uniqlo U collection, designed by Christophe Lemaire, who recently joined UNIQLO as Artistic Director of the Paris R&D center.
UNIQLO will also bring its social responsibility efforts to Denver, including the ‘All-Product Recycling Initiative, in which customers can drop off gently-used UNIQLO clothing in a bin at the store for donation to those in need. The brand will host its ‘A Warm Gesture’ in-store shopping experience in November and December to help provide warm winter clothing to homeless children across the country.
UNIQLO currently has 45 stores in the U.S. including its e-commerce website, UNIQLO.com. UNIQLO at Denver Pavilions will open the same day as UNIQLO’s new store at Tyson’s Corner Center in the Washington D.C. metro area.
