UNIQLO only uses responsibly sourced down and feathers from farms that seek to minimize their impact on wildfowl. All of the down in our products are certified to the RDS which promotes animal safety, welfare, tracks certified material throughout the supply chain. We will continue to support RDS going forward.

*All of our partner garment factories involved in the production of our down products are RDS certified as of the end of 2019. UNIQLO North America is RDS certified as of June 2024.

Responsible Down Standard

UNIQLO supports the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) to protect and enhance the welfare of geese and ducks. As an international standard, RDS helps ensure that all aspects of the breeding and keeping of these animals are safeguarded. The common goal is to give traders and consumers more certainty when buying down products.
