Youth from underserved communities in Bangkok have limited access to resources for education, skill-building opportunities, and work experience. As a result, pathways toward stable employment and economic independence are often disrupted. This project supports Thai youth between the ages of 15 to 25 with vocational training, life skills development, access to internships, and career guidance. Through these efforts, the project aims to help youth broaden their future options and build sustainable livelihoods strengthened by their experiences and potential.

About 1 in 3 young adults in India is either not in school or out of work, with women experiencing this five times higher men. In an effort to provide 2,700 young people living in Delhi slums with the skills and knowledge needed to build a career or freelance practice, UNIQLO India has helped to establish a workforce training program. Consisting of three courses (retail, sewing, nursing, and caregiving), the goal is to help young people start off on the right track.

Since 2022, UNIQLO has been supporting training programs to help Rohingya women at the Cox's Bazar refugee camp learn how to manufacture cloth pads and underwear distributed throughout the camp community. The stipends earned from this work provide these women with a valuable source of income. A portion of your generous donations helps keep this program running.
