OMOTENASHI WAGASHI
Wagashi are traditional Japanese confections loved by many people. Through collaborations with longestablished confection houses, UNIQLO launched a series based on Wagashi motifs. Kudos to: Kimuraya Sohonten, the inventor of “anpan” or bread with redbean filling; Habutae Dango, known for dumplings which have been mentioned in a lot of Japanese literature; Bunmeido instrumental in making Castella (Castilla) a household name across Japan; Mamegen, which, over many decades, has uncovered different shades of flavors in snacks made from beans, peas and nuts; Tokiwado Kaminari-Okoshi Honpo, which produces Kaminari Okoshi or sweet, crispy crackers made of puffed rice; and Eitaro Sohonpo headquartered in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi District. Enjoy our collection, which captures some of the iconic motifs, patterns and lettering of the confection houses in simple design.
Eitaro Sohonpo

Great shirt
Really nice shirt. Its more of a navy blue in person. Fits well but its made of a different material from their other shirts. Still good regardless.
