The Heart of LifeWear Vol.10
Over half a million items donated to people living in refugee camps in Jordan
In February 2025, UNIQLO delivered 530,000 items of HEATTECH thermal clothing to people in Jordan at the request of UNHCR (the UN refugee agency), with which Fast Retailing / UNIQLO has a global partnership. Some 70,000 people live in the Za’atari refugee camp, the largest in the Middle East and one of the largest in the world. There are about 560,000 Syrian refugees currently still living in Jordan.
Another half a million items donated to people in need across 28 regions.
In addition, in 28 other regions globally, UNIQLO donated approximately 470,000 items to help people in urgent need of clothing, including disaster victims, individuals experiencing homelessness or poverty, and disadvantaged children. UNIQLO worked with local support groups to understand what was needed, with UNIQLO managers and employees around the world participating in the donation activities.
The Heart of LifeWear initiative has been supported by UNIQLO LifeWear Special Ambassador Haruka Ayase, along with UNIQLO Global Brand Ambassadors Roger Federer, Kei Nishikori, Shingo Kunieda, Gordon Reid, and Ayumu Hirano, as well as the Toray Group, one of the world's leading materials manufacturers and the development partner for HEATTECH. At donation events for the initiative, UNIQLO’s Ambassadors handed out HEATTECH items directly to recipients and exchanged greetings, while also participating in sports clinics, talk events, and other activities to give joy and hope.

About The Heart of LifeWear
A global initiative, ‘The Heart of LifeWear’ originated with UNIQLO considering the question 'What makes life better?' and asking how, in its 40th anniversary year in 2024, the brand could take further concrete action to contribute to society through LifeWear. Going forward, UNIQLO will continue to find ways to make life a little easier for refugees, children, disaster victims, and other people in difficult situations around the world.
