All UNIQLO corporate employees were invited to volunteer in both New York City and Los Angeles in a “Community Service Day”
This “Community Service Day” is a day in which all UNIQLO US corporate employees can take time off to go and volunteer together as a team, which is made possible through UNIQLO’s Volunteer Paid Time-off Policy.

“It is great to have everyone together in person giving back to the community and showing the real LifeWear and UNIQLO spirit” said Yoshihide Shindo, CEO of UNIQLO US, “It is very important for everyone at the company to have the chance to volunteer while getting to know their co-workers, and we will continue doing more after a successful first Day of Community Service”.

On this occasion, more than 100 employees volunteered on both United States coasts, including all members of leadership. In New York City, employees joined the City Parks Foundation to clean Morningside Park in Harlem, Manhattan, to support painting and horticulture needs. In Los Angeles, employees joined the Los Angeles Food Bank to prepare and pack food boxes for those in need.
