What or Who inspires or motivates you professionally?
I find inspiration pushing limits through Visual Merchandising, which allows people to see things in a different way through what i have created. I love bringing a space to life and being able to use my imagination.
Based on everything you’ve learned thus far, what advice would you give yourself at the beginning of your career?
If I could begin my career again, I would have made higher goals in order to advance faster.
What helps you find work/life balance?
To find balance, I set high work-related goals during the day to be as productive as possible by the time I reach my stopping point. That way, I can enjoy any time I spend with my family or by myself without feeling preoccupied by work.

What or Who inspires or motivates you professionally?
I have several sources of motivation that drive me to achieve at work. I know from my current role that I am highly motivated by opportunities to learn and grow professionally because I know that this means I am providing value to the business. I also get a great deal of motivation from completing meaningful work as part of a team and helping my team members to achieve their best.
Based on everything you’ve learned thus far, what advice would you give yourself at the beginning of your career?

What helps you find work/life balance?
Trusting my team helps me maintain a positive balance, and having a great and supportive team helps build the foundation. This allows everyone to feel responsible and empowered.

What or Who inspires or motivates you professionally?
What inspires me is knowing that the knowledge you can gain from other people is limitless. Not only do you grow professionally, but also personally. Who inspires me is my mom. She has taught me that hard work and determination are important, but real success comes when those attributes are paired with kindness and empathy.
Based on everything you’ve learned thus far, what advice would you give yourself at the beginning of your career?
I would tell my younger self that it’s ok to be unsure and not have your career path completely figured out. Experiment and take the time to learn what excites and inspires you.
What helps you find work/life balance?
There is no perfect recipe for work-life balance! For me, I find balance by being flexible with my day-to-day goals and reassessing my workload against priorities. That way I can shift things around to be able to prioritize time with family, friends, and myself.

What or Who inspires or motivates you professionally?
I always knew I wanted to dedicate my time working towards a better world, so I built a career around sustainability. I'm motivated by seeing what happens day-to-day and the potential we have to change things from a micro to macro level.
Based on everything you’ve learned thus far, what advice would you give yourself at the beginning of your career?
I would tell my younger self that you don't need to have all the answers at the beginning of your career. Think about what interests you, work hard and trust the process. And negotiate your first salary! The gender-pay-gap starts that early.
What helps you find work/life balance?
Finding work/life balance is hard, but taking time regularly to stop and check how you feel and what you need is important. There are different times in your life where you will need a different work/life ratio, and you need to be flexible to allow yourself to pursue what you need and want.

What or Who inspires or motivates you professionally?
The women in this company motivate me! I have been involved in creating the Women's Networking Group and have been privy to conversations where our women employees have shared their journey and the challenges that they face either becoming a leader or aspiring to become a leader. Women have been facing challenges for decades and it has been fascinating to see how we have overcome these obstacles especially as it pertains to a global company and the challenges that come with it.
Based on everything you’ve learned thus far, what advice would you give yourself at the beginning of your career?
I would tell myself at the beginning of my career to get comfortable being uncomforable! You have to be uncomfortable in order to continue to grow. When you become stagnant in your career this means you have mastered this stepping stone. Continue to be curious and do not be afraid to ask questions! Sometimes you may not know the answer and that is OK. The journey to getting the answer in itself creates a learning opportunity.
What helps you find work/life balance?
Everyone's work/life balance is different as everyone lives different lives! For me it is all about prioritizing my health. I like to allocate 1 hour (only 4% of your day!) to myself. Whether I spend that time working out or reading, it gives me the time to take a break from the demands of my job. Also, when I am working it is important that this time is productive in order to reduce workload for the week and to be able to focus on other projects and demands that pop up.
