DELIVERY
EVERYTHING IS FINE EXCEPT FROM THE TIME I ORDERED
THE PARKA TO THE TIME I RECEIVED IT TOOK WAY TOO
LONG. IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING I WON'T BE COMPLAINING BUT PAYING FOR SHIPPING AND WAITING THAT LONG IS TERRIBLE.

flimsy parka
purchased this and i found the parka of a flimsy material and i returned it and they did not refund me the money. they refunded only part of the amount. will never do business with them, and i had to pay for shipping the item.

Very Good Value Ultralight Down
I bought this in several sizes as Christmas gifts for my parents (not knowing which would fit them) and ended up keeping one of the extras instead of returning it. I do a lot of backpacking and typically use higher-end ultralight down jackets costing about three times what this jacket costs. The more expensive jackets will use a higher quality down and will be a bit warmer and a bit lighter, but the difference is negligible.
I have been very impressed with the performance and value of this jacket for use both around town and on several backpacking trips with sub-freezing temperatures. It works great as a mid layer in cold weather or on its own down to around freezing with just a light layer underneath.
This does seem to run small and I had to go up a full size from small to medium. I am a medium in Japan sizing in other brands. The medium weighs 10.2 oz with the stuff sack.
