Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wasn't expecting this to be a favorite It took me a little bit by surprise how much I liked this shirt as it appears fairly basic at first glance. I think the contrast of a more dressy Oxford shirt like this having a great oversized cut just really works well. I am getting a little tired of seeing reviews on here of U line clothing being too "large". It's one thing to critique the overall balance of the U pieces but having boxy or oversized cuts is what U is intentionally about. I'm all for it because as a tall lanky guy if I buy mainline clothing in a size that technically fits me, I hate how slim it is and I'm really tired of that look. The vintage cuts that U plays around with suit me much better and give a nice subtle edge to my style without being overly flashy fast-fashion pieces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid OVERSIZED shirt I can't believe I have to write this in a review, but please READ the description of the shirt. if you're a 5'8 190lb dude expecting a mainline slim Uniqlo shirt, ya dun goofed. This is a solid Lemaire-esque shirt from UU. Initially did not dig the buttons on the collar as they tend to make the collar look "flat" on a piece meant to be more flowy. However, it looks fine in person, even with the shirt unbuttoned. The cotton is ever-so-slightly stiff but I imagine it'll wash into a softer feel. The arms are slightly billowy and lend to the great drape this shirt has. Other than the OCBD inspired buttons, I do feel this shirt is about 1"-1.5" too long to classify as a boxy silhouette. Definitely would call it a straight oversized shirt over a "oversized box silhouette" as stated under the description. Overall, a solid $40 choice if you're in the market for a shirt that fits the oversized aesthetic. And a steal if you can catch your size by the time it goes on sale.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Usually an fan of Uniqlo but... I'm usually a fan of Uniqlo, I would say they are my favorite go to retail brand. I used to love their white oxford slim shirts they fit perfectly, even non-slim shirts of there's worked for me, a size L. And from a design standpoint, Uniqlo U is wonderful. But after this purchase I feel very disappointed that a company such as Uniqlo, with all its resources produces products that are frankly ridiculously out of portion and far from what would ever be considered large. I do not joke when I say, even as not a small guy (5'8 190lbs) this thing is ridiculous. The length is almost to my knees, the shirt is billowy, and the sleeves are fit for an impractical wingspan. Like I don't get how a company so big can't have a set measurement for regular shirts- the JW Anderson shirt I have fits perfectly this however would only be good for as a joke. Size down is a must. I hope someone from uniqlo see's this and puts a stop to this because it is really the worst thing about the company for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from yes yes and yes Yet again the U team finds a way to redo a classic. You see it online and don't think much of it but then you see it in the store and want them all. LOVE the colorways on these. Originally got the off-white, then decided to exchange it for the pink, since the off-white felt just a tad too standard for me. Love the material, love the detail in the stripes, love everything about it. I'm on the shorter side so I may get this hemmed a bit but otherwise it's A+++++++++++++++ Might get the black later if I can't stop thinking about it.
