Preferred prior fabric
The new easy care comfort shirts are far less breathable. The previous weave was a little more like a pique polo, and the newer shirts are far closer to a woven shirt than the previous knit. The fabric also has a higher blend of polyester, further making the shirt feel warmer. I also find the cut to be roomier in the waist and the drape to be less flattering in the new fabric. The prior size S was a perfect fit on me, and the new cut is slightly blousey.
The higher poly fabric does dry slightly faster. I'm glad I bought an extra of the prior run, as I find the older product to be nicer looking, more flattering, and more comfortable. I won't be buying more if the fabric remains the same as the 2020 product.

Very comfortable fit!
I am a wide shouldered guy and some of the other Uniqlo shirts felt a little too restrictive in the chest and shoulders. This one is not one of those! It fits perfectly and can be worn tucked, and also untucked. For untucked, it rides a bit low but if you are on the taller side this look can work well. Material is soft, holds up to a wash ok and has enough thickness that it is not see through
