Kashiwa Sato, one of Japan's leading creative directors, has gained renown internationally with his innovative approaches to visual identity / corporate identity planning and brand strategies. The largest ever solo exhibition "KASHIWA SATO," introducing the broad spectrum of his career over the past 30 years, is held from Feb 3 to May 10, 2021 at the National Art Center, Tokyo.
Japanese confectioner Fujiya has popular mascot called PEKO, a six-year-old girl who loves sweets. First appearing in 1950 as a doll outside Fujiya stores, PEKO celebrates her 70th birthday in 2020.
