Meticulous dyeing for classic denim.
We use the rope dyeing technique on the denim yarn. This leaves the yarn's white core while dyeing the outside a deep indigo. You can see the white part through the surface when wearing or washing these jeans. The better the dye on the yarn, the more beautiful it looks when time passes. These jeans are painstakingly dyed so that you can enjoy them as the denim turns a vintage pale blue over time.

We worked with skilled artisans at venerable denim maker Kaihara to implement unique modifications to the old-fashioned loom. This resulted in an innovative fabric with stretchable comfort yet an authentic texture. We've updated jeans with modern comfort while keeping the warmth and power of old-fashioned handwork and the textured feel of traditional denim.
