This outerwear is packed with cutting-edge fiber technology. The proprietary functional padding we developed with Toray is mixed with extremely fine fibers about 1/5 as thick as a hair. Each microscopic microfiber strand has a spring-like twirling shape and holds plentiful air for warmth. We've improved volume, stretchability, and even elasticity. This is the most lightweight and warmest functional padding UNIQLO has ever created. A small, small invention.

This item helps prevent static electricity, no matter how dry the air is or whichever favorite sweater you're wearing. We've woven static-resilient yarn into the weft of the inner layer. Lightweight and warm. And washable. Making outerwear for children means development has to have a fundamentally different purpose. The Ball Padding we developed with Toray is lightweight and structured to hold plenty of warm air, while also being easy to care for. Play hard, get dirty, toss it in the washer. We've added many other touches. The fastener is easy to handle while wearing gloves, and we've designed the collar with a chin guard to keep the fastener from touching the chin. There's also a name tag on the back side. We've considered every detail to keep kids warm.
