HEATTECH is made of four types of fibers.
HEATTECH uses four types of fiber* that have different roles; such as trapping air and retaining heat, absorbing moisture to keep you dry, or providing stretch.
*HEATTECH and HEATTECH Ultra Warm only, HEATTECH Extra Warm Cotton has a different fiber composition.
Natural materials for a renewed HEATTECH.
Combining cutting-edge textile technology with the warmth of natural fibers. UNIQLO : C HEATTECH yarns are made from a blend of fibers that include cashmere* and are approximately half as thin as those used in cashmere sweaters, giving you the warmth of standard Extra Warm HEATTECH with approximately 70% of the weight. Furthermore, we also deliver the gentle comfort that only cashmere can provide.
*Materials: 57% acrylic, 28% rayon, 9% cashmere, 6% polyurethane.
Combining natural fibers with cutting-edge technology.
Blending delicate cashmere* with HEATTECH meant spending time to find the ideal raw wool. We used AI to verify the uniformity of the resulting fabric and used a specially-designed dyeing machine to reduce the load on the fabric as much as possible.

Children's comfort is our blueprint.
Our HEATTECH thermal base layers for children feature cotton for a gentle feel. We also choose threads that are comfortable against the skin for the stitching. We use stretch fibers to allow children to move freely, and we have also increased the durability of the collar area.
