The secret to this jacket's surprising lightness is the special fabric designed in cooperation with Toray Industries. By double-layering without down packing, we were able to achieve an overwhelming reduction of weight. Because of our use of premium down, the jacket stays thoroughly warm despite how light it is. A pouch is attached for storage, making it easy to pack and carry.

We worked with Toray industries to develop a special fabric to create Ultra Light Down with a 2-layer structure that is noticeably more lightweight compared to the traditional 4-layer structure. The key is a fabric woven with fine, high-density nylon yarn approximately one-tenth as thick as a human hair. It’s comfortable, warm, and unlikely to lose feathers, achieving the best balance to give you everything you need for a down jacket.

Airy wear that stays warm.

Fill power is one of the indicators of down quality. With this bulk-displaying amount, a higher count means more air is contained in the down, making it better at retaining heat. This ultra-light down is of high quality, at a count of over 750. In addition, the golden ratio of 90% down to 10% feathers is used to maximize warmth.

Stow the Ultra Light Down in a pouch and keep it in your bag for sudden chilly mornings and evenings, or in air-conditioning. Since it can be stored compactly, it does not take up space in your suitcase when traveling.
