We all know it. The collar can make or break the impression a T-shirt makes. We employed the durable "binder neck" collar for female and male ranges for this T-shirt. However, we differentiate in quality through the finer details, such as the construction of the collar, the number of stitches, and the type of stitching. All these combine to create a collar that places itself on your neck just the right way. It's these small details that greatly influence your overall impression. Our concept was perfection, and our eye for detail helped us achieve this.

Christophe Lemaire, Artistic Director of Uniqlo, shares his thoughts on the Uniqlo U Crew Neck T-shirt for men in his Paris studio. Mr. Lemaire's aesthetic is based on the idea of what a universal T-shirt should be, and incorporates a sophisticated aesthetic into something that is worn on a daily basis. The fabrics, dry touch and comfortable to wear and look good, and sophisticated color variations, chosen through a process of verification with a focus on slightly dull colors - he showed us that a lot of care is put into products that look simple at first glance.
