Follow Roger Federer as he explores the world’s great cities, 24 hours at a time.
In this new video series, we join Roger Federer as he visits his favorite cities around the world. He’ll meet some surprising guests and tour interesting, unexpected places in each city. From Tokyo to New York and beyond, we’ll see how LifeWear makes Roger look great for every situation and every mood.
Second stop: NYC
“I love New York. One of the greatest cities in the world with some of the best tennis fans in the world. This city is full of energy, passion and so much style. This city always makes me feel at home.”
Trailer:24 Hours with Roger
Join Roger Federer as he explores New York City, tasting some of the local culture, getting up close with the art world, joining in a (chess) match with a young fan and, of course, playing a little tennis. It’s 24 hours well spent with the maestro.
1. Meeting of the Masters
Roger Federer goes to Columbus Park to face off against an unlikely opponent—chess master Tani Adewumi. This young immigrant from Nigeria learned the game while living in a shelter in NYC. Already a master, he has his sights set on becoming grandmaster before fourteen. Let’s see how the maestro does.
2. Rolling in the Dough
What trip to New York would be complete without a slice of pizza? For Roger, not just any slice will do. He stops in at Scarr’s Pizza where the man himself, Scarr Pimentel shows Roger how his magic is made and helps Roger with his toss.
3. Destination Art: Behind-The-Scenes at MoMA
Join Roger, a lifelong art fan, for a special tour behind-the-scenes at The Museum of Modern Art. Spend a peaceful moment with him in the famed gallery that features Claude Monet’s beloved Water Lilies (1914-16), and follow along in the David Booth Conservation Center as he discovers one of the Museum’s most rarely seen and fascinating spaces where conservators maintain and restore MoMA’s iconic works.
4. The Perfect Return
When Roger retired from the tennis tour, the kids of the Cary Leeds Center made him a special thank-you video. Now Roger was able to personally thank them with a surprise visit and hit session on their home court!
