Trailer:24 Hours with Roger
Get ready to see London—and Roger Federer—as you’ve never seen them before. In this all-new edition of “24 Hours with Roger Federer,” Roger pilots a speedboat up the Thames and into the heart of this historic city. He’s got a license to thrill and his mission is to explore the art, culture and food of London in a way that only he can. In four action-packed episodes, Roger shares an all-access look at the London he loves.
1. To London, With Love
Rogers zips up the Thames by speedboat, taking in the beauty of this great city where he first realized, as a mere teen, that he had what it took to play the greats and beat them at their own game. He reflects on starting his charitable foundation and alludes to his hopes for the future.
2. All Are Welcome
Dishoom is a modern take on the Irani cafes that dotted Bombay in the ‘60s, set in a converted colonial trade depot—so it is a melange of cultures that seeks to make everyone feel at home. Roger gets the lay of the land from co-founders Shamil and Kavi Thakrar and then sits down for their take on the classic English breakfast.
3. Art for All, Roger at Tate
Roger is a great lover of modern art, so an opportunity to visit Tate Modern, London’s museum of international modern and contemporary art, is not something to be passed up. And when the Tate Beekeepers invite him to check out the rooftop apiary, he does not hesitate.
4. Roger x JW ANDERSON
Always known for bringing style to everything he does, Roger got the opportunity to work with the renown creative director Jonathan Anderson on his newest collection for UNIQLO. They arrived at a line of very smart looks that move effortlessly from the court to the street. Roger tries on some of the new looks and comes away feeling great about his new line.
