After 3 washes (followed care label) 3 very noticeable holes appeared in the jumper. One was in the chest area. Uniqlo response after contacting them was 'wear and tear' not manufacturing fault. Seriously considering not buying from uniqlo again

Rated 2 out of 5 by karina0195 from Not the same quality as it used to be I had bought this jumper in black in size L (I'm normally size S but like this one to fit me more loosely) about maybe two years ago and have worn it so so so much as I absolutely loved it and it went with everything in my wardrobe. One day about a month ago I accidentally snagged it and made a hole, so headed to my nearest Uniqlo to get a new exact same one – 100% Extra Fine Merino Wool, Black, Size L. I wore it once, put it in the washing machine on the most delicate cycle and inside a protective laundry bag, and it came out with holes! I can't wear it anymore, and that's only after one use! This is when I realised that when feeling my old jumper and comparing it to the new version of the same item, the new one felt much thinner. It seems like Uniqlo has decided to change the production process of this item making it much lower quality and turning it into a very different item. Very disappointed and will not be buying any more merino wool items from Uniqlo, even though I loved this item before.

The fit and quality are lovely, but the off white is being returned as it’s very very see through, as in you could see every detail of my bra and my tattoo on my arm through it. It would be okay if you were only ever going to wear it as a base layer but no good as a jumper on its own. The black is much more opaque though and a lovely basic so will be keeping this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Liina from good value I am curvy 60kg/1,64 m and ordered size L because I like my jumpers to be a little bit looser side. I also was afraid that Asian sizing is too small for us Europeans. Size L ended up to be too loose for my liking. Size M would have been perfect. I hope it shrinks when I wash it. Quality is really good for the price. It is sooooo annoying that Uniqlo uses only size S clothes in the model pictures. If they can't hire size M models, it would be informative for us regular jumper-buyers to see how size M or size L jumper looks like on size XS/S model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Pvz01 from Poor Quality, stitching by seams comes undone I bought this jumper a few months ago in the colour brown and I honestly wish I hadn't. I will start with the positives: lovely colour, soft & will keep you warm. The quality, however, is awful. I washed it by hand and was very delicate with it as I am with cashmere jumpers. I noticed after washing that the stitching by the seam had come undone and a small hole had appeared. I sewed it back, thinking it had been a one-off. I have now washed it again and the same thing has occurred on the opposite seam. So after 2 washes the jumper is coming undone, this is very disappointing. I feel like I wasted my money and now am afraid of washing it again - please skip this purchase, it is not worth it!
