These sturdy chinos are made from densely-woven West Point material for a glossy sheen and a firm, crisp feel. A bio-wash process creates a vintage texture, and they feature natural nut buttons. The cuffs have double-stitched rolled seams for a subtle puckering effect, and the cut tapers slightly toward the hems for a slender style.

Strange CutFrom the knee down these are a regular fit. However, from the knee upwards very wide if you a slim 150-160lb guy. Far too baggy, in fact the thigh width folds back on itself and the rear fit is very large for a size 32". As soon as I unpacked them they looked like chinos for much larger person. Disappointed but will be returning them.
On the plus side they are very made from nice material.

Tight pant legs are sooo Tuesday!Uniqlo's Chino Flat Front Pants are comfortable and rugged.
Why do they have such tight legs?
Please make them wider so the wearers can scratch their calves and so they
become a bit more fashionable...

Disappointingly slim fitI remember about 5 years ago when the vintage "classic fit" chinos actually had a classic, straight fit. Those days seem to be long gone. Although these are described as having slight taper, if you have larger calves then you will probably find these uncomfortable and unflattering. If these were truly classic fit they would easily be my favorite chinos, because the materials and details are fantastic. If you prefer slimmer pants you will probably enjoy these.

The perfect chinosI wear these every day, in every colour. I've tried many pairs of trousers and jeans but still keep coming back to these because they're so comfortable. They do stretch out a little bit in the waist, as a 36" waist generally I go for 35" in these.
They're not slim fit but still very flattering. It would be better if Uniqlo offered them in different lengths as I have to get them altered every time and don't live near a Uniqlo to get it done for free.
