Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor fabric and cut Attracted by the price and colour selection, I ordered this sweater with great anticipation. I was greatly disappointed however: the fabric is soft to the touch, but it is exceedingly thin, which is fine in itself, but the weave is somewhat loose, yielding a cheap looking sweater (but then again, it is actually cheap in price, so perhaps no surprise?). The cut also is lacking. It's roomy under the arms, and looks a bit baggy on top of it all. This looks fine over a t-shirt on jeans, but it's neither crisp nor sharp over a dress shirt and with slacks. For the record, I am neither bulky nor exceedingly thin (I am 5'11, 160lbs, so fairly average I think).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I bought this only a couple of weeks ago, and i have been extremely disappointing by the product. The product is too thin and its durability is really poor. within a matter of weeks the yarn was coming apart at the elbows leaving a hole in the fabric

Rated 4 out of 5 by from please indicate how you launder I'd like to throw this review in here as a means of getting a better review process. People should be required to indicate the way they launder garments. Many people here are indicating how thin the fabric is. If it were a matter of thinness, then the most prestigious brands out there (Tom Ford, Brioni, etc) would never produce at the similar weight in which you find these sweaters. I wash most all knits like this by hand, since they don't get dirty the way other garments do. Wool is a great fiber for wicking away moisture and in general lends less to odor. I might go an entire season without washing a sweater more than once, and when I do, by hand. Period. No dry cleaning, no laundry cycle among a sea of garments, with centrifugal mishaps or what have you. So please, indicate what your method of washing is before possibly scaring off potential customers because they think a garment is simply unraveling and poor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too thin, too fragile I agree w/ Shivermytimbers. Looks good in the store, soft, etc. But too thin. I had a hole in it after wearing it once.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice with okay fit This is a really thin sweater, which is okay, but it's so thin you can see through it, so don't expect much warmth. The fit is also okay, but they cheated with the chest a little, by making it larger, so the arm holes will be bigger, but it'll still have somewhat of a modern fit. In other words, you'll have webbed armpits and I really dislike this. It's also a little long, but it may shrink some after laundering. Then again, I find most Uniqlo tops to fit better on men with long torso's, which isn't me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always on top As usual, a fine top quality garment from Uniqlo. This is the second one I bought, because as it happened with a Pea Coat, also this time I found the M size too large for me. So, if you like a slim fit style, just take a smaller size than usual. So I did and now it's perfect. As for the M size one, for that price it's not difficult to find someone to sell it... ;-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still good The thinness of these knits allow for a sleeker form and warmth:weight ratio, which is the benefit of merino. If you want thicker then buy cotton or lambswool. Size down if possible to go well over a work shirt, and the depth of the v neck is ideal as it's not too high and not too low. Resists pilling though? It really doesn't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I bought this sweater at the end of fall and I've worn it many times throughout the winter. It's still in great condition, and better yet it never stinks! You could wear it a few times in a row and not detect anything. Absolutely incredible value for the price. Pros * Affordable * Anti-odor * Great fit Cons * Thin
