Unsodo, established in the Meiji period, is the only publisher in Japan that still publishes books printed from handmade woodblocks bound in the traditional Japanese fashion. From its archive, we selected Hokusai Katsushika’s masterpiece ukiyo-e Fugaku Sanju Rokkei (Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji), renowned for its distinctive blue hues. This collection reinterprets Japan’s beautiful characteristics in a modern way.
