UNIQLO Thailand collaborates with Rajanukul Institute since 2018 to create a working skills training program for intellectual disability students. The students are trained by the staff from UNIQLO store about greeting to customers, preparing products, store cleaning, etc. This project create an opportunity to enhance their working skills and be part of the society.
Students who pass the evaluation from Uniqlo and Rajanukul are considered to be hired at Uniqlo stores. Nowadays There are 25 people with disabilities working in 18 Uniqlo stores. And Uniqlo has been awarded as a Great Company who support people with disabilities from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for 3 years consecutively.
