Employment of People with Disabilities

UNIQLO has been working towards the goal of employing at least one person with disability per store since 2001. Currently, over 90% of our stores in Japan employ at least one person with disability. This diversity initiative has fostered a special connection between all store employees, which has also led to improved customer service. We aim to expand this initiative to UNIQLO stores in every country where we operate. In addition, we support the Special Olympics, the world's largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, through uniform donations and staff volunteers.
