Description
The Art of Textile
THE ART OF TEXTILE is a collection that focuses on two Japanese textile designers. We had design company ASENDADA led by Asami Sato, who also handles package and product design, and Sawako Hoshi, who actively provides designs to several domestic and ovorseas companies on a freelance basis and resides in Helsinki, express the changes of nature with a theme of late summer. Enjoy a unique touch and a beautiful colour combination.
Sawako Hoshi
Textile designer. Born in 1986, Sawako Hoshi resides in Helsinki. After graduating from Musashino Art University in 2008, she moved to Finland and received a master’s degree from Aalto University. She then started freelance work providing designs for several domestic and overseas companies. Her method is a crayon scratch technique and the design themes are mainly of the beauty of nature and scenic landscapes drawn up from her memory.
