EDO UKIYO-E

Katsushika Hokusai

An ukiyo-e artist in the late Edo period, who depicted everything in nature. The first ukiyo-e artist to become popular in the West as well, Hokusai is best known for his print series “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji” and his series of printed sketchbooks, Hokusai manga.
