UT Wear Your World Contest

Uniqlo (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“UNIQLO”) maintains this website [www.uniqlo.com/sg] (the “Site”) and is responsible for this UT Wear Your World Contest (the “Contest”). UNIQLO reserves the right to cancel or amend the Contest and the terms and conditions of the Contest (the “Terms and Conditions”) at any time without prior written notice. Any changes will be posted on the Site.

1. The Contest is only open to residents of Singapore at the age of 15 years old and above. Participants below the age of 18 years old as at the date of participation must obtain parental consent before participating. The participant warrants that he/she shall indemnify UNIQLO against any and all claims in relation to his/her participation of the Contest and any breach by the participant of the Terms and Conditions. UNIQLO’s rights are expressly reserved.

2. Employees of the UNIQLO Group Companies, advertising and promotion agencies of the UNIQLO Group Companies together with their employees, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each of the aforesaid persons are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

3. UNIQLO reserves the right to disqualify and/or exclude any entries from the Contest, for any reason, including without limitation to breach of any portion of the Terms and Conditions.

4. Participant is to catch UNIQLO’s UT trains (East West and North South Lines). Scan the QR code and key in the password found on the train hangers. Vote for favourite UT content and answer the required questions. The period to participate the Contest is from 8 April 2019 to 12 May 2019.

5. Only one entry is allowed per Participant for the Contest.

6. UNIQLO reserves the right to disqualify any participant whom does not meet the rules and regulations of the Contest.

7. Any unfair or unethical methods of participation (as solely determined by UNIQLO) may result in disqualification.

8. UNIQLO’s decision on all Winners is final and conclusive.

9. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.

10. The Winners will be announced on 19 May 2019 via email.

11. Subject to the terms and conditions, each Winner shall receive a coupon code to redeem a UNIQLO Graphic T-shirt of his/her choice via the UNIQLO online store.

12. Any prizes not redeemed on or before 2 June 2019 will be forfeited. UNIQLO’s decision regarding the award of all prizes and/or any situation including those not covered by these Terms and Conditions shall be final and binding on all participants in the Contest, and no queries or appeals shall be entertained regarding UNIQLO’s decision on the same. The receipt by any Winner of any prizes under the Contest is conditional upon such Winner’s compliance with any and all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

13. UNIQLO will not be liable for any damages, loss or injury suffered by any participant entering the Contest or accepting any prize. UNIQLO is not responsible for any non-delivery of or missing entries, problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network, lines, computer equipment, servers or software, or any combination thereof.

14. By entering the Contest and/or accepting the prizes, the participant agree that no claim relating to such losses or injuries (including special, indirect and consequential losses) shall be asserted against UNIQLO, its parent company, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from the Contest and/or acceptance of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death and/or property damage.

15. By submitting Contest entry, the participant agrees and warrants that the participant shall not submit any content that (a) is hateful, threatening, incites violence, or contains nudity; (b) violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation; (c) is or may reasonably be considered to be defamatory, libelous, hateful, racially or religiously biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening or harassing to any individual or corporation; (d) includes any information that references other apps, addresses, email address, contact information or phone numbers; or (e) contains any malware, computer viruses, worms or other potentially damaging computer programs or files.

16. All information, including personal information (“Information”) submitted to UNIQLO and/or its affiliates in connection with the Contest will only be used for the purposes set out herein and treated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and those stipulated in the Privacy Policy of UNIQLO at http://www.UNIQLO.com/sg/store/help/privacy-policy/ (“Privacy Policy”).

17. In addition to the Privacy Policy, by entering the Contest, the participant agrees to the use of the Information, without compensation, for (a) the UNIQLO Group Companies’ promotional and marketing purposes and (b) the purposes of administration in relation to the Contest.

18. Each participant in the Contest acknowledges and agrees that in respect of any Information provided pursuant to the Contest, (a) he or she is authorized to disclose such information and (b) such disclosure complies with the relevant privacy legislation in the jurisdiction.

19. UNIQLO will not sell or otherwise transfer the Information to unaffiliated third parties without the participant’s approval. If applicable, the participant will have the opportunity to indicate whether the participant would like to “opt in” to receiving promotional and/or marketing information about other products, services and offerings from the UNIQLO Group Companies or any third parties.

20. UNIQLO reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the Site and to inform advertisers of such information as well as the number of users that have been exposed to or clicked on their advertising banners. UNIQLO will only provide aggregated data from these analyses to third parties. UNIQLO is not responsible for any actions or policies of any third parties who request personal information from the participant and the participant should check the applicable privacy policy of such third party.

21. The participant should be aware that information and data may be automatically collected through the use of “cookies”. “Cookies” are small text files in a site which can be used to recognize repeat users and allow UNIQLO to observe behavior and compile aggregate data in order to improve the Site and to target its advertising. Cookies do not attach to the participant system and do not damage the participant files. If the participant does not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that will allow the participant to deny or accept the cookie feature.

22. The participant may notify UNIQLO of any updates, amendments and corrections to previously collected Information. Furthermore, upon the participant’s request, UNIQLO will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete or amend the participant Information.

23. UNIQLO reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Contest without any liability to the participant should there be unforeseeable events which in UNIQLO’s absolute opinion may jeopardize the process of the Contest.

24. UNIQLO reserves the right to amend or change these Terms and Conditions and the prizes at any time without any liability to the participants.

25. In the event of any disputes regarding the Contest or these Terms and Conditions, UNIQLO shall have the right to make the final decision.

26. These Terms and Conditions and the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
