Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates the UV protection level of clothes. Higher ratings provide greater protection against UV exposure, and UPF50+ rating is the highest industry standard*.

Our UV Protection collection blocks 90% of UV rays* and offers a range of Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) from 25 to 50+.

Our UV Protection clothing is more effective than regular clothing in blocking UV rays.

*Everyday clothing is made from 100% cotton fabric with no UV-blocking treatment. UV Protection Clothing is made with UNIQLO UPF50+ fabric. Tested under UV intensity compared to midsummer sun in Japan. Image based on results.
