“RE.UNIQLO” is a framework that helps maximise the utility of the clothing we make, contributing to a circular society. “REDUCE” used clothing disposal by extending the lifespan of each garment. “REUSE” clothing with new purposes. “RECYCLE” clothing into new products and materials. Clothing has the power to change the future. None of this can happen without your help. Please bring any UNIQLO items you no longer need to a RE.UNIQLO recycling box.

We collect pre-owned UNIQLO LifeWear clothing that customers wish to donate or recycle in RE.UNIQLO boxes located in all our stores. Donations are sorted according to their condition for reuse or recycling. LifeWear that can be reused are classified to fulfill recipient needs - we have redistributed clothing to refugees and to local communities in need. Damaged or unwearable clothes that cannot be reused are upcycled or recycled into new products, as materials for new clothing or for insulation or soundproofing, and/or for energy recovery.

RE.UNIQLO boxes can be found at UNIQLO stores across the country.

All UNIQLO items are accepted for recycling, except for innerwear. Please wash your clothes prior to donation to ensure that items are delivered in the best possible condition. Please make sure personal belongings are not with donations.
