We're serious about softness.
We're particular about not only the leather's production area, but also its quality and molding process. We used only the high-quality part of the cow, called the double butt, which has high fiber density from its back to its rear. Additionally, among the three leather-forming processes, beating, kneading, and drum rotating, the beating process after dyeing is doubled, making the leather itself even softer.

The perfect balance between the belt and buckle is important because of the simple design that makes the most of fancy materials. By the changing the rounded end of the belt into the same square shape as the buckle, it makes the line around your waist look nicer. In addition, we've enhanced the luxurious, neat look by coating the buckle with a matte to match the belt's colour. The belt passes through the buckle smoothly because we've given a meticulous finish to the leather edges.

The genuine leather used in UNIQLO's Italian leather belts is sourced from Volpi Concerie, a reputable company with over 70 years of experience. This artisan shop utilizes meat by-products from European countries for all its materials. Their vegetable tanning process incorporates plant extracts from around the globe, including natural ingredients like quebracho and mimosa. Through a meticulous multi-day processing method, we create belts that are both durable and retain their quality over time. As one of the company’s craftsmen states, "We approach our manufacturing with the same passion for quality and production control as we do for the craftsmanship itself".
